Specialized Treatment for Trauma, Anxiety and Panic

If you've tried to manage anxiety, panic attacks, or trauma by "thinking differently" you're not alone. That's because anxiety isn't just cognitive, it lives in your nervous system.

You may notice a tight chest or shallow breathing, consant tension in your body, racing thoughts that won't slow down, or feeling on edge when nothing is wrong. These are signs your nervous system is in survival mode.

My approach is focused on helping your body release what it's been holding. Using somatic therapy, EMDR, and IFS we work to regulate the nervous system, in order to regulate your thoughts, so you can experience real, lasting relief.

EMDR FOR CPTSD • SOMATIC THERAPY FOR ANXIETY • MINDFULNESS FOR BURNOUT

We're Curious

Curiosity naturally promotes openness and is a marker of flexibility (Silvia and Christensen, 2020)

Being curious about yourself and your experience allows you to begin seperating from automatic thoughts and survival reflexes.

How can working together help?

We Build Psychological Safety

"The work is not to relive it. The work is to create enough safety for the body to release it" (Peter Levine on somatic experiencing)

Bulding safety is biological. This will happen through regluating exercises, mindfulness of your body's reactions, slow pacing in sessions to cultivate awareness, and reconnecting you to your body.

We Help you Regulate What Feels Overwhelming; In Mind and Body

We build on the curiousity and safety to target automatic thoughts and trapped emotions. We will shift stuck patterns within you, your body, and relationships, so you are choosing instead of reacting, living easefully and aligned, instead of anxious and burdened.
